the story

Non-linear path.
Intentional direction.

Started in the Visible Heart Lab at the University of Minnesota — studying cardiac physiology and biomedical engineering at the device level. That foundation of understanding how complex systems fail, adapt, and heal has shaped how I think about product ever since.

Took an unpaved road into video and brand storytelling at Motion 117, learning that the hardest part of any complex idea is making it land for someone who doesn't already care. That skill travels.

Spent time in the UMN Technology Commercialization office, helping researchers cross the gap between a working idea and a real product — market fit, regulatory strategy, financial models.

I use AI as a core part of how I work — not as a novelty, but as a genuine force multiplier in discovery, synthesis, and delivery. Built the tools in this portfolio using Claude. Not worried about the transformation; actively leaning into it.

Now: senior product leader building platforms that help people navigate the hardest moments in health — from a 0→1 care navigation build that cut time-to-care to 48 hours, to a behavioral health analytics platform serving enterprise clients at national scale.

case studies

Problems worth solving.

Three builds that shaped how I think about product — each one a different kind of hard.

Access Plus
Legacy EAP with broken access. Members waited weeks to connect with care. Built a care navigation and scheduling platform from scratch — inside a large health system, against competing priorities.

reduction in unused auths
Resources for Living's EAP had a fundamental access problem: members were authorized for care but couldn't get to it fast enough. Scheduling was fragmented, provider matching was manual, and the digital experience hadn't kept pace.
  • Led discovery across clinical, operations, and account stakeholders to map the broken workflow and find the highest-leverage intervention points
  • Owned the full product roadmap — prioritizing scheduling and navigation first, then building automated engagement workflows on top
  • Launched 1,000+ automated monthly touchpoints that reduced unused authorizations and improved care utilization
  • Delivered in a HIPAA-regulated environment with enterprise reporting requirements layered on top
analytics platform
Behavioral Health Analytics
Enterprise health clients needed to evaluate program performance — but data was siloed, inconsistent, and hard to act on. Built the platform that changed that.

real-time insights platform
Aetna's behavioral health clients were making decisions with stale, inconsistent data. The opportunity: build a centralized analytics layer that surfaces real-time insights and makes them actionable.
  • Built a data ecosystem connecting disparate member and clinical data layers across the behavioral health portfolio
  • Owned product strategy and roadmap — aligning features to customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business priorities
  • Partnered with Sales to translate insights into client-facing tools supporting pricing decisions and account growth
  • Unlocked new outcome insights enabling more informed product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions at national scale
commercialization strategy
SDOH Mobile App · UMN Technology Commercialization
Academic researchers had built a compelling social determinants of health application — but had no path from lab to market. Led the strategy that got it to early-stage pilot.
The UMN Office of Technology Commercialization works at the intersection of research and application. This project: a social determinants of health mobile app — proven in research, stranded without a viable path to market.
  • Conducted market assessment to identify the most viable initial deployment context and buyer profile
  • Developed regulatory strategy mapping the pathway from research tool to commercial product
  • Built financial modeling to support early-stage funding conversations and partnership development
  • Facilitated the transition from concept to pilot — the gap that kills most good research ideas
